I was born and raised in Minnesota USA.

I started Japanese studies in Highschool. After graduating from State University with a bachelor's degree in Asian Arts and Literature, I traveled to Japan and lived there for a total of 8 years.

During this time I attended two schools. The Tokyo University language school and The Technical College of Engineering.

I have 5 years of experience working as a professional translator in Toneplus Animation Studios, Bora Studios, and pH Studios. My work consisted of translating official documents, interpreting instructions, and live-interpretation via Skype services.

I also have 20 years of freelance translation experience.

As a member of ProZ, I have translated a large variety of documents including websites, software, games, instruction manuals, and movie subtitles.
