Source text - English Adsorbers remove pathogenic substances from the blood
The treatment of blood outside the body by means of adsorbers is a new and innovative therapy concept based on the selective removal of undesirable and pathogenic substances from the blood. It is used for those patients in particular who have diseases which cannot be treated successfully by conventional methods.
The following diseases can be treated with the new technology:
• hypercholesterolaemia, a hereditary lipometabolic disorder
• auto-immune diseases such as lupus erythematosus as well as
• dilatative cardiomyopathy
• certain forms of nephritis, disorders of blood coagulation
• organ rejection
The process is very effective and extremely well tolerated as the patients are not given any drugs. For instance, the DALI system enables LDL cholesterol to be removed from whole blood for the first time. As a result of the treatment, the development of coronary heart disease can be influenced in a positive way.
Treatment of blood outside the body
In all adsorber treatments, the blood flows through a tube from a vein in the arm of the patient into the adsorber. The various adsorbers contain different materials which, like a sponge, selectively extract the undesirable and pathogenic substances from the blood. The cleansed blood is then returned to the patient via the vein in the other arm. A special machine pumps the blood through the adsorber and monitors the blood circulation outside the body.

Despite significant improvements in the quality and efficacy of hemodialysis therapy in recent years, cardiovascular disease (CVD) remains the leading cause of death for dialysis patients.

Pozaustrojowe oczyszczanie krwi za pomocą adsorberów jest nową i innowacyjną koncepcją terapii opartej na selektywnym usuwaniu niepożądanych i toksycznych substancji z krwi. Jest ona stosowana w szczególności u pacjentów, cierpiących na choroby, które nie mogę być leczone sktutecznie za pomocą metod konwencjonalnych.
Za pomocą tej nowoczesnej technologii mogą być leczone następujące schorzenia:
• hypercholesterolemia, dziedziczne zaburzenie metabolizmu lipidów,
• schorzenia autoimmunologiczne, takie jak toczeń rumieniowaty, jak również,
• kardiomiopatia rozstrzeniowa,
• niektóre rodzaje zapalenia nerek, zaburzenia krzepliwości krwi,
• odrzucenie przeszczepu.
Metoda ta jest wysoce skuteczna I niezwykle dobrze tolerowana przez pacjentów, ponieważ nie są im podawane żadne leki. Na przykład, system DALI (bezpośrednia adsorpcja lipoproteiny) umożliwia usuwanie cholesterolu LDL z krwi pełnej już przy pierwszym zabiegu. W wyniku leczenia dalszy rozwój choroby wieńcowej serca może zostać powstrzymany.
Pozaustrojowe oczyszczanie krwi
W przypadku wszystkich metod leczenia za pomocą adsorberów, krew przepływa z żyły na ramieniu pacjenta poprzez dren do adsorbera. Różne adsorbery zawierają różnorodne substancje, które podobnie jak gąbka, selektywnie wchłaniają niepożądane i toksyczne substancje z krwi. Oczyszczona krew powraca wówczas do organizmu pacjenta poprzez żyłę na drugim ramieniu. Specjalne urządzenie pompuje krew przez adsorber i kontroluje pozaustrojowe krążenie krwi.
Hemodializa kardioprotekcyjna
Pomimo znacznej poprawy jakości i skuteczności hemodializoterapii w ostatnich latach, choroby układu krążenia pozostają główną przyczyną śmierci pacjentów poddawanych dializie.

Konkurs i kampania XXX
W tym roku powstała nowa marka farb XXX, prezentująca najmodniejsze trendy kolorystyczne. Powstał również serwis internetowy XXX dedykowany nowej marce. Serwis prezentuje liczne inspiracje, niezwykłe aranżacje wnętrz oraz informacje na temat produktów i technik wykonywania efektów dekoracyjnych na produktach marki XXX. Serwis został wykonany w oparciu o najnowsze technologie internetowe, a swój dynamiczny charakter zawdzięcza technologii Flex. W celu promowania nowego serwisu w czerwcu przygotowany został interesujący konkurs na najlepszą, wirtualną aranżację kolorystyczną wnętrza. Konkurs polega na przygotowaniu własnego projektu pomieszczenia w specjalnie stworzonym interaktywnym Wizualizerze, za pomocą dostępnych palet kolorystycznych i efektów dekoracyjnych XXX. Można przygotować kilka projektów, ale do konkursu można zgłosić tylko jeden. Do wyboru uczestników zabawy są 4 kompozycje, które każdy z nich może pokolorować dostępnymi kolorami z palet kolorystycznych XXX oraz efektów dekoracyjnych XXX. W każdej z kompozycji możemy nadawać barwy także elementom wyposażenia wnętrz, co umożliwia stworzenie własnego niepowtarzalnego projektu. W galerii konkursowej można oglądać wszystkie projekty biorące udział w konkursie, jak również listę nowo dodanych oraz najwyżej ocenianych projektów. W konkursie wygrywają 4 projekty wybrane przez jury oraz 4 projekty wybrane w głosowaniu przez internautów. Stworzenie systemu głosowania przez internautów pozwoliło nam na kilkukrotne zwiększenie ruchu na stronie DF. Konkurs wspomagany był kampanią internetową, w której skład wchodziła reklama odsłonowa na takich portalach jak www.gazeta.pl, www.polki.pl, oraz kampania mailingowa skierowana do kobiet w wieku 25 wykonana do userów portalu www.wp.pl.
W czasie trwania konkursu stronę XXX odwiedziło prawie 30 000 unikalnych userów, a swoje wizualizacje do konkursu zgłosiło prawie 7000.
Translation - English XXX competition and campaign
This year a new XXX paint brand has been launched in line with the latest colour trends. A new website XXX, dedicated to the new brand, has been also set up. The website provides plenty of inspiration and contains remarkable interior designs as well as information on XXX products and techniques for creating decorative painting effects. Created using the latest Internet technologies, the website owes its expressive look to the Flex technology.
To promote the new website, an interesting competition was organised in June to select the best virtual interior colour scheme. The competition involves creating your own interior design in a special interactive visualiser, using available colour palettes and applying XXX decorative effects. You can create a number of designs, but submit only one in the competition. Each of the competition participants can choose from four compositions that can be coloured using available XXX colour palettes and applying the XXX decorative effects. In each of the compositions, elements of the interior equipment can be also tinted, which helps create your own unique design. All the submitted designs along with the recently added and highest rated designs can be viewed in the competition gallery. Four designs selected by the Jury and four by Internet users will be awarded in the competition.
The introduction of a voting system via the Internet has allowed us to increase web traffic on the XXX website up to several times. The competition was supported by an on-line campaign, including impression-based advertising on the websites such as www.gazeta.pl, www.polki.pl and an e-mail marketing campaign aimed at women aged 25 and over - website users of www.wp.pl.
During the competition, nearly 30,000 individual users visited XXX website, while nearly 7,000 users submitted their interior design visualisations.
