Bio

I'm a translator from Spanish into English with 14 years of experience and a lifelong interest in languages and cultures.

My work today focuses largely on lawbusiness and international affairs, though I've dealt with a number of other specialized fields and topics as well.

I hold a master’s degree in Spanish from Middlebury College, which included a year of study and cultural immersion in Madrid, Spain.

As an undergraduate at the University of Kentucky, I successfully pursued three majors (SpanishEnglish and international economics) and spent a semester abroad in Toledo, Spain.

Prior to my career as a translator, I worked for several years in accounting, which has proven useful in translating financial statementsannual reports and general business correspondence.

Other interests of mine include filmliterature and music. I’ve amassed a vast collection of movies, books and records and actively seek out criticism and commentary in these areas to learn more and make new discoveries.

As a self-taught pianist, I find a creative outlet in improvisation and composition.

I’m always open to new opportunities, so please don’t hesitate to reach out if you are interested in more information or a potential collaboration. I look forward to hearing from you!
