Professional/occupational experience:

1985-1990: Employed at Par Scientific A/S, Odense, Denmark. The company produced medical equipment used in radiation therapy at hospitals all over the world. I worked as a secretary / translator for the company.
1990-1998: Co-founder and -owner of a translation agency in Odense, Denmark, working with many freelance translators in various countries. The agency was based on the concept of high quality, competitive prices and a high level of service. Besides running the company, I also translated as much as possible myself. I chose to close the agency as per 31.12.98 in order to concentrate solely on freelance translation.

1999- ..: Freelance translator from English, German and Swedish into Danish.
