This guide is designed to assist you in reviewing your child?s MCAS results
and in understanding how MCAS scores are reported. The guide supplements
the information provided in your child?s Parent/Guardian Report.
MCAS tests are an important part of our state?s effort to improve the
achievement of every child in Massachusetts. The tests are designed to
measure important skills and knowledge in core academic subjects. Your
support is extremely important in promoting the educational success of your
child and strengthening education for all Massachusetts students.
If you have questions about the meaning of the results or your child?s
performance, I encourage you to meet with your child?s teacher(s) to discuss
the results and identify ways that you can partner with your school to support
your child?s education.

صمم هذا الدليل لمساعدتك على مراجعة نتائج ال"MCAS" لأبنائك ولفهم كيفية الإبلاغ عن الدراجات. الدليل إضافة للمعلومات المتوفرة في تقرير الابن المسمي بتقرير"والي الآمر \الوصي".
اختبارات ال "MCAS" جزء مهم من جهود ولايتنا لتحسين إنجاز كل طفل في ولاية ماساتشوستس. و صممت ألاختبارات لقياس كل من المعرفة و مهارات ذات أهمية في المواد ألأكاديمية الأساسية. فإن تأييدك في تدعيم النجاح التعليمي لأبنائك مهم جداً وذلك للنهوض بالتعليم لكل طلبة ماساتشوستس.
فقد اضطر فعليا ولأول مرة وذلك بسبب التغيرات التي جرت حديثا في القوانين الفدرالية وقوانين الولاية أن يشترك كل الطلبة ذو المستوى المحدود في الإنجليزية في اختبارات ال "MCAS" بغض النظر عن عدد السنوات التي أمضوها في الدراسة أو المدارس في الولايات المتحدة. وقد وجد بعض الطلبة ذو المستوى المحدود في الإنجليزية هذه الاختبارات صعبة. فإن علي أولياء أمور أو أوصياء هؤلاء الطلاب أن يفهموا أنا الهدف الأول هو توفير المعلومات و استخدامها لتطوير برامج مجدية للطلبة الذين يتعلمون اللغة الإنجليزية، وثانيا لتأسيس نقطة البدء لقياس تقدمهم على مدى فترة من الزمن.
فإذا لديكم أية أسئلة عما تعني به النتائج أو عن أداء أبنائكم، فأنا أشجعكم على لقاء مدرس أو مدرسي أبنائكم لمناقشة النتائج وإيجاد طرق لمشاركة المدرسة في تدعيم تعليم أبنائكم.
