Source text - French Le caustique devrait être introduit au niveau de l'eau déminéralisée d'appoint afin de permettre la réduction du débit d'eau démin., sans risque de précipitation du sel dans le bas du lit (benzoate est 200 fois plus soluble que ABZ).
Cette approche permettrait également d'opérer l'épurateur sans pompe de recirculation (à vérifier durant la mise en service de la phase finale).
Cependant, nous recommandons que l'ancienne branche de caustique soit maintenue afin de pouvoir opérer le système tel qu actuellement, puisque nous sommes sur à 100% que cette manière d'opérer est viable.
Le débitmètre actuel devrait être remplacé par un débitmètre d'une plage adéquate, soit de 0-600 LPH au lieu de 0-60 LPH, avec une nouvelle branche vers le FV-533 et conservant la branche existante vers la succion de la pompe de recirculation.
L'appoint de caustique pourrait être introduit à la sortie de la FV-533 (voir iv) mais le force motrice entre le réseau d'eau démin. et le caustique devra être confirmé (d'après nos calculs préliminaires, tout semble correct mais on doit être sur à 100%) -à confirmer.
Une boucle de contrôle de pH pourrait être installée afin d'asservir la quantité de caustique vers le 2M-507, étant donnée que la charge d'ABZ est très variable (3 :1, 80% du temps et 5 :1, 20% du temps, approx.) et que l'ajustement ''conservateur'' du caustique en manuel implique un gaspillage non-négligeable de ce réactif vers l'égout. Cependant, si déjà du caustique est nécessaire pour neutraliser les effluents de l'usine, alors cette boucle de contrôle est inutile puisque il ne s'agit que d'une substitution de charge. Si une telle boucle n'est pas implantée, nous recommandons au minimum de mettre une FSL sur la ligne de caustique vers la FV-533 afin de prévenir le colmatage de l'épurateur si pour une raison ou une autre, on perde le caustique. Ce colmatage serait très rapide (moins de une journée d'opération).

This approach would allow the purifier to operate without a recirculation pump (to be checked when the purifier is activated in the final phase).
However, we recommend that the old branch of caustic substance is kept, so that the system can be operated as it is now, as we are 100% certain that this way of operating is viable.
The current outflow meter must be replaced by an outflow meter of adequate range, that is 0-600 LPH instead of 0-60 LP, with a new branch to the FV-533, and retaining the existing branch to the recirculation pump's suction.
The extra caustic substance could be introduced at the exit of the FV-533 (see iv) but the driving force between the demineralized water system and the caustic substance will have to be confirmed (according to our preliminary calculations, all seems correct, but we must be 100% certain) - to be confirmed.
A pH control loop could be installed to control the quantity of caustic substance to the 2M-507, given that the emission of ABZ is very variable (3 :1, 80% of the time, and 5 :1, 20% of the time, approx.) and that the "conservative" adjustment of caustic substance in manual mode involves a considerable loss of this reagent to the sewage system. However, if caustic substances are already necessary to neutralise the factory's effluents, then this control loop is useless because it only consists of a substitution of the emission. If such a loop is not installed, we recommend that at the least an FSL is put on the caustic line to the FV-533 in order to prevent the clogging of the purifier if, for one reason or another, the caustic substance is lost. This clogging would be very fast (less than one day of operation).
