Bio
I have been working in international environments since 1979.
I started as a hotel employee in London (UK) and after a few years in Rome, I worked as an administrative employee at the British Council Rome and Naples as a secretary and then as a Registrar. In the meantime I worded as a freelancer translator for a few companies on legal matters, biology and architecture.
I also worked as a translator and interpreter at the Nuovo Crai, a scientific research centre in Caserta helping the Head of Biotechnologies, a Cambridge Professor, with his work translating his researches on biotech, chemistry, engineering and genetics.
After another ten years of working at the British Council Naples, I organized congresses for teachers of English and acquired a lot of experience in this field, as well as experience as an independent translator and interpreter for congresses in Education matters.
Since the year 2000 I have been working in tourism as I became a tour leader and a tourist guide and although I have been working with tourists from all over the world I specialized in tours with Japanese, English, American, Spanish, French speaking tourists and a few German speaking groups.
I am also qualified as a tourist interpreter so I have quite a good experience in interpreting in the tourism field.
During my free time I like to write articles about the arts and archaeology of the region where I live, Campania. I like music, traveling and reading.
