Translation - English Maniwong Temple is located in Muang District, Nakhon Nayok Province. Distinctive with the famous Naga Cave. That is spectacularly beautiful as if the underworld with a delicately beautiful Naga. In addition, the temple has a beautiful Buddhist art that is worth a visit. Starting from the temple gates, golden yellow Buddha statue in Pa Lelai posture, Viharn Sien (great masters chapel) with a large Buddha image enshrined on top, and a meditation garden created with delicate, beautiful and unusual art.
For visiting Naga Cave during this period, the temple will queue up to visit 100 people per round, allowing 15 minutes per round by queuing on a first-come, first-served basis. Chairs are provided for visitors while waiting. On Saturday, Sunday, there are quite a lot of people and waiting time can be a little long, some people wait 1 hour. If visiting between 7.00-9.00 and 16.00-17.00, or on weekdays, not many people and may not have to wait long or can enter without queuing up.
When it's time to enter, the temple will call you to walk in line and enter through the first arch, you will find a place to pay homage to Buddha and the Naga statue of holy grandfather Si Suttho and holy grandmother Sripatum. Then continue walking into the cave.
After walking through the arch, you will find a large Buddha image enshrined as a statue of the great emperor Chaibadan, measuring 9 meters in lap width size and 14 meters in height which visitors can pay homage. Including the sacred Buddha image located on top of the cave is Phra Rattanamanee Maha Badan.
Inside, there are four families of Naga and more than 1,000 servant serpents which were sculpted in fine art carving, including statues of famous master monks inside as well.
Golden temple entrance arch has is a statue of a serpent in an image of male guarding both sides. As for the temple wall, it is a long golden wall that stands out with carved patterns. The end of the wall is a flower. There are Buddha images holding alms along the doorways.
The important place in the middle is the golden yellow Buddha image of Pa Lelai posture, sitting on the stone. On the right is the chapel, on the left is Viharn Sien with large Buddha image on the top. Enshrined a large Buddha image called Luang Pho Bann Lan, Phra Puttharatmanee Srihathai Naresuan
Viharn Sien was built delicately. Every pillar has a dragon sculpture around it. Inside there are statues of various gods that we can go to worship and pray.
The temple is golden. Around the wall, there are golden kinnaree statues adorned around. Inside the chapel is also a golden book, beautiful with carved patterns on the walls. Enshrined with holy Father Siwali, which is the principal Buddha image.
