جثوتُ مرةً بشوقٍ مُزَلزِل
ولا زلتُ أُطارِد تِلكَ الذكرى وبكلِّ جفوة
مُوَبَّخٌ أنا مِن ذلِكَ الصمتْ والسكوتُ الجليل
أعمى أنا عن الغايةِ الإلهيّة الوحشيّة، لكِنَّكَ كُنتَ لي
نُحَدِّقُ نحنُ في السَوَاد نحوَ نجمةٍ بعيدة
آهٍ مِن تلك الرَعشَة الناتجة عن معرفتنا بكميّة الوِحدة التي نعانيها، وأنَّ لا أحد يعرفُنا البتّة
قد اعترفتُ للبريّة ولِكِلانا بشأنِ التوق الذي كنتُ أحلمُ بهِ تجاهَ حُبٍ أسمى
لكن واحسرتاه لا وجودَ لِحُبٍ أسمى من هذا الحُب
لم أعشق قَطُّ لوناً أزرقاً شديدَ الظُلمة بِقَدْرِ الظُلمة التي عرفتُها فيك وورثتُها مِنك
أنتَ يا مَن يُغنّي قلبَهُ مِن فَرْطِ الفوضى
أنتَ يا مَن يَضحَك بالعادة على معنىً عميق بشكلٍ جميل
حينَ تُحرَق حقيقتُنا مِنَ التاريخ بواسطة أولئك الذينَ يجدون العدالة في ذكرى عزيزة، إشهد عليّ:
مثلَ نارٍ تبكي على شجرةِ أرْز، إعلَم أنَّ حُبي سيحترِق معي
