Source text - English PROCESS DESCRIPTION The process described below will be applied for the comminution and preparation of the material designated above. This process is shown graphically on the enclosed balance sheet. The calculated grinding material is supplied to the mill and fed into it by means of an infeed device which is a three flap gate lock. The infeed device can be heated by means of hot gases. In the mill, the material is ground, dried, and classified all at the same time. Three stationary grinding rollers roll on a rotating grinding bowl. Drawn in between the rollers and grinding track, the material is ground by pressure and shear. The forces of pressure required for grinding are produced by the weight of the rollers and the tension system. The forces of shear result from the difference in speed between grinding bowl and grinding rollers. The process gases taken into the mill carry the ground material to the integrated classifier. The required target fineness is set by adjusting the classifier accordingly. The material to be ground is dried by means of hot gases taken into the mill. The mill is equipped with an external material circulation system for pressure loss reduction in the mill. It also allows to empty the mill for maintenance purposes. The finished product leaving the classifier with the gas flow is separated out in the downstream cyclone separating unit and then continues to the finished product silo. Reclaim of the finished product from the cyclone separating unit is by rotary locks. The cyclone separating unit is followed by the mill fan. The various operating conditions of the grinding plant are considered for rating the gas volume and pressure to be produced by this fan. Downstream of the mill fan, the gas flow is divided, with part of the gas flow being returned to the mill and the remainder evacu¬ated through a dust collection system. The trunk roads in the plant should be 7 meters wide, while the minor ones maintained at 4.5 meters. Approaching lanes should be available to facilities such as all main workshops and warehouses etc, while other buildings inaccessible to vehicles need to be connected with walkways.
