I have a MA in English and Danish and 3 years of experience with English/Danish and Danish/English translation.
Right now, I work as a freelance translator where I translate metadata from various TV-series from English to Danish at ZOO Digital Group, translate academic texts and legal documents from English or Swedish to Danish at AMNielsen, and translate short stories from Norwegian to Danish at Lindhardt & Ringhof.
I have translated various academic texts, literary texts, coaching articles, a book about the history and architecture of Aarhus, and reports and manuals about sales, cars, fashion, electronics, etc. Thus, I have a broad knowledge of various topics, and I aim to translate source texts in a way that captures the original meaning and tone of voice while adapting the text to a Danish context and audience.
