I am looking for jobs in translation and proofreading in a language pair English –
Czech. Czech is my mother tongue and I have a master’s degree in English
linguistics and sociology from Palacky University in Olomouc, Czech Republic. Already during
my university studies, I became interested in translating, however, after
finishing my studies, I focused more on a teaching path. Currently, I would
like to get back to my interest in translating and gain more experience in this
field. So far, I have worked on subtitling projects and also on translation and proofreading of
marketing and technical texts. Due to my background I have a particular interest in social science, education but I would also enjoy to get more experience in creative translation, subtitling and literary texts.
