I have been working as a freelance EN-HU, GER-HU and HU-GER specialized translator for more than 20 years and a freelance
audiovisual translator/subtitler for 10 years working with various fields of expertise (social sciences, EU law, politics,
marketing, tourism, technical: household
appliances, IT/user interface of
software titles, human rights, sports (books about yoga, line-fishing, tai chi, wellness and fitness, healthy nutrition), culture, arts, history and literature) and movie genres (series, features, documentaries, cartoons).

I am a
qualified translator of social sciences (Master, 2011, University ELTE,
Budapest, Hungary) and studied Hungarian and German literature, linguistics
and literary translation, too (Master, 2001, University ELTE, Budapest,
Hungary).

I am a native Hungarian. I am experienced in using translation/subtitling tools and online translation/subtitling platforms.

I have a particular interest in history, social sciences, law, politics, literature and movies.

As a freelance translator I have been directly or indirectly cooperated with organisations, companies and institutes like SDI Media, Plint AB, Iyuno, Sublime Subtitling, Collot Baca Localization, the European Parliament, the European Commission, the Goethe Institut Budapest, the Swiss Embassy Budapest and well-known online streaming companies and tv channels.
