Source text - English 6. Notice. Termination pursuant to subparagraph 6.2 (b) shall be made within 6 months of Licensor becoming aware of any listed event and requires written notice to Licensee. Termination shall be effective immediately upon receipt of written notice. The provisions of Article 11 shall not affect the right of a party to terminate for any cause set forth in paragraph 6.2 except that Termination pursuant to paragraph 6.2 (a) shall be delayed if the failure to perform results from a reason set forth in Article 11 so long as Licensee makes every possible effort to remove the obstacle and resume performance at the earliest practicable time, but if any such delay exceeds one hundred and eighty (180) days, Licensor shall have the right to terminate this Agreement regardless of cause.
8.1 Subject to passing any rights to its customers pursuant to Article 2.1 hereof, Licensee may sublicense to others all or some of the licensed XX Design. Licensee shall inform to Licensor whenever Licensee wishes to sublicense. However, Licensee shall not or assign any right granted herein, in whole or in part, without Licensor’s prior written consent. Any purported assignment in violation of this Article shall be void and shall constitute a material breach of this Agreement.

All the schemes are high-rise due to Singapore’s land constraints, some reaching as many as 40 storeys. Each can be seen as a possible building model or conceptual starting point for resolving particular issues, with universal core principles and design strategies that can be applied anywhere in the world.
Treelodge@Punggol is a test-bed eco-design project, combining standard low-cost housing elements with environmentally sustainable features. The notion of sustainability in housing is not new, but because it is applied here on a large scale and within a tight budget, this scheme breaks new ground. It offers a way forward when there is a need to build fast, efficiently and cheaply, and at the same time conserve natural resources for the future.
Woodlands Rental Housing is very different. It is simple, cost-effective, space-efficient housing for short-term residential stay. This type of accommodation constitutes only about 5% of housing in Singapore,4 but in a global context it could offer first-phase affordable housing development for cities facing the challenge of rehousing their poor.
River Vista@Kallang takes the ordinary, and makes it extra-ordinary. Breaking away from the ‘cookie-cutter’ notion of affordable housing, this project adapts the conventional public housing model and fuses it with a public green space agenda. Cities today face immense pressure to build on their open green spaces when land is limited and real-estate values are high. This project shows the intangible value of developing a balance between high- density living and residential well-being, by merging the natural environment into everyday city living.

Source text - English The Berlin exhibition explores the relationship between alchemy (known also as the Royal Art) and the visual arts. “Alchemy is a creation myth and is closely related to art,” Völlnagel says. “It is about transforming material. It is the art of creating something with the help of technology and science that is not otherwise readily available.”
For centuries, alchemy fell into disrepute and was seen narrowly and erroneously as the preserve of charlatans and foolish dreamers obsessed with producing gold in a laboratory. Although it has long since been superseded by modern, scientific chemistry, it survives in contemporary culture and is currently undergoing a revival in recognition of its historical importance.
