Source text - English Marie died. I have discovered that the forces disturbing the, um... the spirits which I, um... Okay, look. I'm not a voodoo queen, okay? I'm a just performance art major from Southern California. But I've got money. And I use that money to pay people to make my "curses" come true. I mean -- I'm a loan shark, okay? I need people to be afraid of what'll happen if they don't pay me back. So, idiots started fearing me and that's great. Cool. But now, not so cool. Because there are some freaky shenanigans happening around here. Okay, my two guys... my, uh... "doom-makers," as I called 'em... They stopped answering my calls. Now I figured they just flaked out on me. But last night I saw them in a dream. I saw their freakin' bodies, all bloated and puffy... And then they came alive and started dancing like a robot. No idea what the hell it meant, but it was terrifying... Could you, like... go to where I saw the bodies in my dream and, just, like... make sure it was... just a dream? First body I saw was floating in the swamp, next to bushes, behind a huge-ass tree. You's tresspassin'! Come any closer 'n' you's gon' get shot! And the other... the head was more inland, on the third island from here. Strange people here. They don't look friendly. HALP! Very not good. I gotta find a way to make this right... Aku bukan ratu voodoo. Mengerti? Aku hanyalah siswa seni pertunjukan yang berasal dari California Selatan. Tapi aku mendapatkan uang. Dan aku menggunakan uang itu untuk membayar orang untuk mewujudkan "kutukanku". Maksudku -- aku ini rentenir, oke? Aku ingin orang-orang takut pada apa yang akan menimpa mereka kalau tidak mengembalikan uangku. Jadi, orang-orang bodoh mulai takut padaku dan itu bagus. Keren. Tapi, sekarang tidak lagi. Ada hal-hal misterius yang terjadi di sekitar sini. Dua anak buahku… yang biasa kusebut dengan "pembuat malapetaka"... Mereka berhenti menjawab teleponku. Sekarang aku sudah tahu bahwa mereka hanya menghindariku. Tapi semalam aku melihat mereka di dalam mimpi. Aku melihat mayat mereka, menggembung dan membengkak... Lalu mereka bergerak dan mulai menari dengan gerakan seperti robot. Aku tidak tahu apa artinya, tapi itu menyeramkan... Apa kau bisa... pergi ke tempat di mana aku melihat mayat-mayat itu di dalam mimpiku dan... memastikan bahwa... itu cuma mimpi? Mayat pertama yang aku lihat mengapung di rawa, di samping semak-semak, di belakang pohon besar. Kau masuk tanpa izin! Kalau kau berani mendekat, aku akan menembakmu! Dan mayat yang satunya… letaknya agak jauh di pedalaman, di pulau ketiga dari sini. Ada orang aneh di sini. Mereka tampak tidak ramah. TOLONG! Sangat tidak bagus. Aku harus menemukan cara untuk memperbaikinya... Bagaimanapun juga -- terima kasih atas bantuanmu; aku akan segera menghubungimu.
