Source text - Korean 초등학교 5학년에 가족들과 함께 미국에 갔을 때 나는 알라딘의 “A Whole New World”를 부르고 싶은 심정이었다. 또 다른 세상이라는 것이 이런 뜻인가 싶었다.
물리적 환경 뿐 아니라 핸디캡을 배려하는 문화, 자신감 있게 각자 의견을 개진하는 모습 등 한국과 다른 문화와 관점들이 나에게 계속해서 새로운 자극을 주었다.
또한, 같은 반 친구 Kelly는 나를 서머캠프에 데려갔고, Garage sale에서 만난 Sally네 가족은 우리를 자신의 집과 community party에 초대해주는 등 주변 사람들은 우리 가족이 미국에서 더 많은 것을 경험할 수 있도록 도와주었다.

Translation - English I was in 5th grade when I went to the U.S. with my family. Just like Aladdin’s theme song, it was literally “A Whole New World.”
I would create my own imaginary world when I was a kid, but I never knew my “world” could grow so much. New experiences inspired me endlessly. The environment, culture, and ideas in the U.S. were so different from my home country.
I was a quiet student in Korea, but after moving to the U.S., I could see myself getting more active in class, and I raised my hand high many times for my opinions to be heard.
I paid more attention to marginalized groups, such as persons with disabilities, and made many friends who invited my family and me to enjoy various new experiences.
Kelly invited me to go to the local summer camp. Sally and her family, whom I had met at a garage sale, invited my family and me to their house and parties in the neighborhood, and I met a friend who came from Latin America. I saw international residents playing their home country’s traditional instruments at a ceremony.
I felt a fuel of energy quiver inside me, which pushed and motivated me to learn Spanish and play Gayageum (the traditional Korean harp). It seemed as if I had spent my whole life underwater, but these experiences took me out to the shore to explore a wider world. My world, which was once small and narrow, quivered until it grew bigger in size and diversity.

다음은 재무제표 작성에 적용된 중요한 회계정책입니다. 이러한 정책은 별도의 언급 이 없다면, 표시된 회계기간에 계속적으로 적용됩니다.
2.1 재무제표 작성 기준
회사의 재무제표는 한국채택국제회계기준(이하 기업회계기준)에 따라 작성됐습니 다.한국채택국제회계기준은 국제회계기준위원회("IASB")가 발표한 기준서와 해석서 중대한민국이 채택한 내용을 의미합니다.
한국채택국제회계기준은 재무제표 작성 시 중요한 회계추정의 사용을 허용하고 있 으며, 회계정책을 적용함에 있어 경영진의 판단을 요구하고 있습니다. 보다 복잡하 고 높은 수준의 판단이 필요한 부분이나 중요한 가정 및 추정이 필요한 부분은 주석 3에서 설명하고 있습니다.
2.2 회계정책과 공시의 변경
아래에서 설명하고 있는 2020년 1월 1일부터 최초로 적용되는 제ㆍ개정 기준서의 적용 그리고 유형자산의 재평가법 적용 및 투자부동산 공정가치법 적용을 제외하고 당기 및 비교 표시된 전기 재무제표에 동일한 회계정책을 적용하고 있습니다.
(1) 회사가 채택한 제ㆍ개정 기준서
① 기업회계기준서 제1103호'사업결합' (개정) - 사업의 정의
개정 기준서는 기업이 취득한 대상이 '사업'인지 아니면 '개별 자산취득'인지 판단하 는 데 필요한 사업 및 관련 구성요소의 정의를 명확히 하였습니다. 취득한 대상이 사 업이라고 판단 내리기 위해 산출물의 창출에 기여할 수 있는 투입물과 실질적인 과 정이 필요하다는 점을 명확하게 설명하고, 산출물을 보다 좁게 정의하였습니다. 또 한, 사업의 필수 구성요소 중 과정이 실질적인지 여부를 판단할 때 필요한 구체적인 지침과 사례를 추가하였으며, 취득한 대상이 사업이 아닌지 간단히 판단할 수 있는 집중테스트를 선택적으로 적용할 수 있도록 하였습니다. 상기 개정 내용이 재무제표 에 미치는 유의적인 영향은 없습니다.
Translation - English 2. Significant Accounting Policies
The following indicate key accounting policies applied in preparing the financial statements. Unless otherwise specified, these policies will consistently apply to all fiscal years presented.
2.1 Standards Applied in the Preparation of Financial Statements
The Company has prepared its financial statements according to International Financial Reporting Standards (hereinafter “IFRS”) adopted by the Republic of Korea (hereinafter “K-IFRS”).
K-IFRS allows the use of critical accounting estimates to prepare financial statements and requires the management to determine the application of accounting policies. Note 3 points out parts requiring more complex and advanced judgments or critical assumptions and estimations.
2.2 Modification of Accounting Policies and Disclosures
The same accounting policies are applied for all financial statements of the current and previous years (2019 and 2020), except for the below-mentioned new and revised standards to be applied starting from January 1, 2020, and the re-evaluation of tangible assets and fair value of investment properties to be applied.
(1) New and revised standards adopted by the Company
1) IASB No. 1103 “Business Integration” (Revision) - Definition of a Business
The new and revised standards have clearly stated the definitions of required businesses and related components to determine whether the target acquired by the Company is a “business” or an “individual asset.” To confirm our determination of the obtained target as a “business,” we clearly explained that inserting inputs was an essential process in producing the output, and the output was narrowly defined. Moreover, we added more specific guidelines and actual cases necessary to judge the practicality of each business procedure and arranged an optional intensive test as a simple measure to determine whether the acquired target could be defined as a business. However, the revised contents above have no significant impact on the Company’s financial statements.

Source text - Korean - 지난 2011년 ILO 제189호 가사노동자협약이 채택된 이후 국내에서도 관련 입법요구가 진행되어왔다. 2012년 제189호 협약 비준동의안 제출촉구 결의안이 국회에서 통과된 후 몇 차례 관련 입법발의가 있었지만 국회 임기만료로 폐기되었다.
- 2017년에 이르러서 국가인권위원회의 「비공식부문 가사근로자 노동권 및 사회보장권 보호를 위한 권고」를 발표한 것을 계기로 다시 가사노동자 보호입법 요구가 커졌다. 국가인권위원회는 고용노동부장관에 대해서는 ILO협약 비준, 근로기준법상 가사사용인 적용제외 문구 삭제, 가사노동의 특성에 따라 근로기준법을 그대로 적용하기 어려운 부분에 대한 입법조치, 표준계약서 보급, 노동조합 보호 및 사회보장 방안 마련을 권고하고 국회의장에 대해서도 관련하여 근로기준법을 개정하거나 가사근로자에 관한 법률 제정 등 입법적 조치를 권고하였다. 하지만 이후 국회에 제출된 발의법안도 제대로 논의되지 못하고 국회 임기만료로 폐기되었다가 2020년 21대 국회가 개원하면서 2020. 7. 다시 가사근로자에 관한 법률안들이 제출되었고, 지난 2021. 6. 15. ILO 189호 협약 채택된지 10년만에 가사근로자의 고용개선에 관한 법률(이하 가사근로자법)이 제정되었다.
Translation - English 1. Preface
- After the International Labour Organization (ILO) adopted Convention No. 189 (C189) on Decent Work for Domestic Workers in 2011, Korean legislation demands on C189 have been underway. In 2012, the National Assembly passed the resolution of ratification on C189 on Decent Work for Domestic Workers, and several bills were proposed several times afterward. Still, this attempt ended in vain as the legislative term expired without the resolution of ratification being actualized.
- In 2017, Korea’s National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) announced its “Recommendation to Protect Labor Rights and Social Security Rights of Domestic Workers in the Informal Sector,” which again declared the need for protective labor legislation. The National Human Rights Commission of Korea recommended that the Minister of Employment and Labor pursue the following legislative measures regarding ratification:
i) Delete regulations excluding housekeepers from application of the Labor Standards Act,
ii) Establish legislative measures to execute the legal application of the Labor Standards
Act to all domestic jobs, including domestic and housekeeping work.
iii) Provide a standard contract,
iv) Create measures for social security and labor union protection.
