Several soil samples were tested for EC (electrical conductivity), PH, organic materials, chloride and sulphate content. The test results presented in table )1(. The results of chemical tests indicate the ratios of sulfate and chloride are within the acceptable ranges, which are 20000 ppm for sulfate and 5000 ppm for chloride. Based on the results obtained from chemical tests we do not anticipate corrosion problems, therefore, using cement type I for the structural elements is acceptable.		Translation - Arabic
تم اختبار عدة نماذج للتربة بتطبيق تجارب كالناقلية الكهربائية، وتحديد الأس الهيدروجيني PH، والمحتوى العضوي، والمحتوى الكبريتي و الكلوريدي. وتم عرض النتائج في الجدول (1). تدل نتائج الاختبارات الكيميائية على أن معدلات الكبريتات والكلوريد هي ضمن الحدود المقبولة، والتي هي 20000 ppm للكبريتات، و5000 ppm للكلوريد.
بالاعتماد على النتائج التي تم الحصول عليها من الاختبارات الكيميائية، فإننا لا نتوجس منن حدوث مشاكل بسبب التعرية، لذلك فإنه من المقبول استخدام الإسمنت من النمط 1 لعناصر البناء.

Bio

I am Professor Assistant
in Engineering Geosciences with 10 years of experience. Currently pursuing my
PhD in Istanbul Technical University at the same field. I have worked as Teaching
Assistant at Damascus University and got promoted to Lecturer Assistant.
Besides, I have served as English language teacher, translator, editor and
supervisor in multiple public and private universities. In addition, I am able
to lead research projects in translating in numerous fields. Moreover, I have taken
the chair of various positions as team leader and member in instant vocal
translations in various events and conferences. I am able to quickly adapt to
new roles.
