Bio

I hold a master's and PhD in translation studies from Australian National University. I have been translating since 1992 and researching translation since 2004. I have translated texts in various fields including design and architecture, economics and development, archaeology, technology, business, history, law, and political science.

One of my translated works is the Indonesian translation of Shary Arison's book "Birth: When the Spiritual and the Material Come Together", which was published by Gramedia Pustaka Utama, Jakarta, Indonesia, in 2011.

Another language work of mine is the editing of the first draft of the Indonesian translation of "Bandit Saints of Java", a phenomenal book written by Professor George Quinn (Australian National University). The translation was published by Kepustakaan Populer Gramedia, Jakarta, in February 2021.

I have translated/edited many documents used for academic purposes, including research and international journal publication.

I am a mount hiker. Every translation/editing project is Mount Everest to me.
