En kraftig explosion inträffade strax efter midnatt i centrala Stockholm.Detonationen inträffade i korsningen Surbrunnsgatan-Tulegatan i Vasastan.
Samtliga fönster i ett café krossades. Dessutom är entrén totalförstörd.Räddningstjänsten bekräftar att de är på plats vid caféet. Första larmet kom 00.12 och följdes snabbt av ett 20-tal samtal. Polis och räddningstjänst har skickat stora resurser efter explosionen.
– Åtta brandbilar är framme och ytterligare två är på väg. Tre ambulanser är där och ytterligare tre på väg. Ingen har fört någon patient till sjukhus, säger Henrik Östling på SOS Alarm.
Fyra polisbilar är också på plats. Poliserna var mycket försiktiga. De pratade med varandra om att det kan ha varit en handgranat som exploderat och att ytterligare explosioner kan inträffa.
Gatorna kring caféet har spärrats av. Explosionen var så kraftig att den hördes över stora delar av centrala Stockholm.
Strax före klockan ett gick en polispatrull in med en bombhund i caféet.

A strong explosion occurred soon after midnight in Stockholm downtown. The detonation occurred at the Surbrunnsgatan-Tulegatan crossing, I Vasastan.
All the windows in a café were crushed. Also, the entrance is totally destroyed.The emergency service confirms that they are in the place close to the café. The first alarm started at 00.12 followed right after by a 20-minute call.
- Eight fire trucks are already there, and two extras are in their way. There are three ambulances there, and more three are in their way. No patient was taken to the hospital, said Henrik Östling, from SOS Alarm.
Four police car is also in the place. Policemen were very careful. They talked with each other that it could have been a hand grenade that exploded and other explosions have happened.
Streets around the café were blocked. The explosion was so powerful that it was heard over most parts of central Stockholm.
Right after 1.00 a.m., a police patrol went through with a bomb-sniffing dog.
