Currently a surgeon subspecialist (Head and Neck Surgery), I began my career as a Linguistics major at Georgetown University. Subsequent to completion of an undergraduate degree, I worked in the U.S. Department of Justice with unofficial translation duties in both Portuguese and Spanish regarding international extraditions. Future endeavors included official employment as a translator (contracted by the U.S. Department of Justice), medical school, medical translating and interpreting and present position as a Head and Neck Surgeon.
