Bio

My name is Karwan and I work full-time as a Linguist. I say Linguist because I do both Translation and Interpretation (Virtually and in-person). I have earned by BA in Arabic Language and Culture from California University of PA. I have worked as a Linguist since 2007, ranging between working overseas with US Armed Forces, to working family and criminal courts in the US. I also have worked with several organizations covering Public Schools, Hospitals and other medical professionals, refugees and immigrants social services, and variety of other areas. 

I am proud to say that I have experience in both Arabic and Kurdish interpretation and translation. I have been tested multiple times for verbal and writings by ALTA and have scored more than satisfactory in all three languages (Arabic, Kurdish and English).


In my free time I play all kinds of sports and like to go hiking and camping. New hobby I got into in the last 5 years have been reaching highest peak of every state in US.
