My educational background is varied: Spanish (general), Spanish (medical) Chemistry, Statistics, Brazilian Portuguese (general) and French (general). My professional experience involves general Spanish translation, teaching Spanish, as a native or second language and Portuguese and French as a second language. My native language is English and all its variants, however I have studied in Spain and traveled to other countries as well. In fact traveling is one of my interests. My current focus is educational and medical/ scientific translations. As a resident of the New York metro, I have the opportunity to have constant contact with native speakers of Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese and French.  I am alert, culturally responsive, open to new ideas and interested in a variety of topics presented in any of the languages I speak.
