Source text - English Structural Tension - The Secret of Your Success
What words are to language, what numbers are to mathematics, or what the feedback loop is to system dynamics, tension is to structure. It is the basic unit. It is like an energy cell that fuels movement and change. It is the factor in structure that forms the path of least resistance.
The word 'tension' has a few different meanings, so let's be clear about what we mean and don't mean by it. We don't mean emotional stress and anxiety. We don't mean pressure. We don't mean pain and suffering. We do mean a dynamic of structure that causes energy to move along the path of least resistance.

Source text - English An introduction to Nichiren Buddhism
Buddhism presents the way to know ourselves by illuminating our lives with the awareness of our potential rather than our limitations.
What is Nichiren Buddhism?
The image we have of Buddhism is often based on a combination of impressions: statues of Buddhas and bodhisattvas, saffron-robed monks in ornate temples. Vegetarianism? probably. Pacifism? certainly. While the philosophy and its pacifist basis may be seen as very laudable, for many, Buddhism might appear to be rather idealistic and 'other worldly'. In fact, the Buddhism of Nichiren Daishonin is rooted in daily life, and offers a profound and pragmatic approach to facing and overcoming the inherent difficulties of life.
Buddha means 'awakened one'. Although it is often perceived as a transcendental state of life separate from daily reality, Buddhahood is a state of life which each individual inherently possesses - a state of awakened enlightenment to the true nature and potential of life. This awakening brings with it such characteristics as strengthened energy, courage, determination, compassion and wisdom.
| Translation - Italian Introduzione al Buddismo di Nichiren Daishonin
