Translation - English Product Sales Management Contract
(Annual Dental Expo Project)
This contract was created on the 11th of January of 2016 at Lion Corporation (Thailand) between
………………… Corporation (Thailand) by Mr. .................................... and Mrs.................................................. , authorized directors, who will hereafter be referred to as the "employer," (Office location: ………………. Pra Raam ……. Road, Bang Pongphang Subdistrict, Yannawa District, Bangkok) and
Mr. .............................................., who will from hereafter be referred to as the "employee." (Address: ………… Soi Bang Waek …………., Intersection ………, Bang Waek District, Pasi Charoen Subdistrict, Bangkok
Both parties in this contract have agreed to enter into a sales management employment contract, as follows.
1. The employer has agreed to employ the employee and the employee has agreed to accept employment as a product sales manager for the dental project as the employer has specified. The work is divided into two parts for the employee, as follows
1.1. Selling dental products at the dental exposition;
1.2. Shipping products after the dental exposition.
2. This contract is for 1 year, beginning on the 1st of January, 2016 until the 31st of December, 2016.
3. The employer agrees to pay the employee a salary according to this contract, as follows:
3.1. The salary will be calculated at 3% of the sales total from the dental exposition as referred to in 1.1. The details of the expenses from selling the products will be calculated from the receipts that have been used for those expenses.
3.2. The contract fee will be paid at 103,000 baht each time for the shipping of the products after the end of the dental exposition as specified in 1.2.
4. The employee promises to use all his knowledge and abilities to execute the work with faithfulness and honesty to help the project achieve success by giving the employer the least amount of expenses as possible.
In the case that the employee or any other personnel of the employee does not take action in their responsibility, becomes negligent to the point where the employer or other persons receive loss, or does anything else that induces the employer to terminate the contract, the employee agrees to allow the employer to cancel the contract immediately and agrees to pay the employer or other persons for any loss or damages that may have occurred.

5. The employee agrees that while selling the merchandise the employee will work on a regular basis at the specified location of sales and
5.1. Will assign staff of a sufficient number to sell the products;
5.2. Will prepare documents for the shipment of products each day;
5.3 .Will prepare the location of sale, for example, preparing shopping carts, arranging products, preparing the loudspeakers, surveying the premises, and any other preparations that are necessary;
5.4. Record the sales totals of every day and send the leftover products to the employer the next morning every day until the project is finished.
6. The employer takes responsibility to prepare the products as per invoice and send them to the employee at the location where the products are being sold.
7. The employer agrees to send the products to the employee according to the shipment invoices
each day and the employee agrees to receive the merchandise at the place of selling and take responsibility to care for the products and ensure that they stay unharmed and in perfect condition, ready for sale all throughout this project.
In the case that the employer inspects the products and finds that it is defective, damaged or lost, and discovers that the damage occurred during the time of selling the merchandise, the employee agrees to take responsibility to pay all the damages according to the selling price of the merchandise.
8. The employee agrees to allow the employer or a representative of the employer enter the area where the products are being sold and inspect the selling of the merchandise as well as anything else
9. The employer agrees to store and manage the profits from selling by appointing a staff worker to take care of the profits from each day throughout the entire project. The employer will also be the one who reviews the amount of money as compared to the invoices received throughout the time of sales.
10 The employer has the right to terminate the contract for any reason, but needs to give notice in written form to the employee ahead of time not less than 30 days.
11 If the employer has stated his intent to terminate the contract, the employee agrees to allow the employer to:
- Find other personnel to come work until the completion of the project;
- Call for any compensation needed from the employee.

Two copies of this contract have been made with the same message, of which both parties have seen the contract, agreed that it is correct according to their intent, and have signed and sealed the contract in the presence of witnesses.

I translate regularly for foreigners at คริสตจักรนครเชียงใหม่, the Thai church I attend, as well as at the Mueng Chiang Mai Police Station. I love languages, am interested in doing more translation in the future, and am looking for as much experience now as possible. One of my dreams is to teach in a Karen village in the mountains. I also enjoy writing, both prose and poetry.
