If you want the security and anonymity that a virtual private network (VPN) provides, but you're tired of installing a separate client on a multitude of different devices, here's how to configure a VPN on the router in your home or small office.
These days, privacy and security often overlap. Even for the average consumer, virtual private networks (VPNs) can be a fantastic security aid, and if you're operating a small business, they're effectively mandatory to protect data in transit. That's all due to their use of encryption. But for those concerned with privacy, a VPN has a couple of additional benefits.
First, they make your computer appear as if it's in a geographic location other than where you actually are. A wretched track, Barak had called it earlier, grumbling yet about the wildness of this barbarian land I had brought him to. I had not replied for I was bone-tired, my poor back sore and my legs in their heavy riding boots as stiff as boards. I was worried, too, for the strange mission that now lay close ahed was weighing my mind. I lifted a hand from the reins and felt in my pocket for the Archbishop’s seal, fingering it like a talisman and remembering Cranmer’s promise: “This will be a safe journey, there will be no danger.”
I had left much care behind me as well, for six days before I had buried my father in Lichfield. Barak and I had had five days’ hard riding northwards since then, the roads in a bad state after that wet summer of 1541. We road into wild country where many villages still consisted of the old longhouses, people and cattle crammed together in hovels of thatch and sod. We left the Greath North Road that afternoon at Flaxby. Barak wanted to rest the night at an inn, but I insisted we ride on, even if took all night. I reminded him we were late, tomorrow would be the twelth of September and we must reach our destination well before the King arrived.

H2- Introduction
Une nouvelle loi sur les jeux d’argent et de hasard, entrée en vigueur le 1er janvier 2019, permet l’exploitation de jeux d’argent en ligne par des maisons de jeu suisses. Si cette loi est appliquée depuis cette date sur certains de ses volets comme les petits tournois de poker, le jeu en ligne va lui pouvoir être possible pour les joueurs suisses, en théorie, à partir du 1er juillet 2019.
H2- Quel est le but de la nouvelle loi sur les jeux d’argent en Suisse?
Depuis le 1er janvier 2019, une nouvelle loi concernant les jeux d’argent est entrée en vigueur en Suisse. Elle remplace une précédente loi sur les maisons de jeux datant de 1998 ainsi qu’une loi sur les loteries qui elle datait de 1923.
Cette loi fédérale sur les jeux d’argent (LJAr) vise à réglementer tout ce qui gravite autour des jeux d’argent et de hasard, de leur exploitation par des établissements autorisés à l’affectation de leurs bénéfices via une collecte ciblée des impôts. Cette nouvelle loi est relative aux jeux d’argent en ligne mais elle ne concerne pas les jeux d’argent pratiqués dans un cercle privé, les paris sportifs locaux, les compétitions sportives ou encore les petites loteries proposées sur une courte durée pour promouvoir un produit par exemple.
Plus globalement, le but de cette loi fédérale est d’assurer une totale protection de l’ensemble des joueurs suisses contre les dangers liés aux jeux d’argent et notamment l’addiction et l’isolement des joueurs les plus dépendants et qui présentent les comportements les plus excessifs.
De plus, cette loi veut être la garante d’une exploitation respectueuse de la loi et qui soit la plus transparente possible. Enfin, elle aura pour visée de redistribuer une partie des gains engrangés par les casinos. Cette redistribution ira vers l’assurance-vieillesse, les survivants et l’invalidité.
Le cadre voulu par cette loi doit donc théoriquement permettre de favoriser tous les acteurs, avec d’un côté une protection des joueurs et de l’autre des établissements qui ne seront pas concurrencés par des acteurs illégaux.

Una recente legge sul gioco d'azzardo, entrata in vigore il 1° gennaio 2019, permette la creazione di siti online da parte dei casinò terrestri presenti in territorio svizzero. Se la legge, per certi aspetti, viene applicata sin da questa data, ad esempio, per i tornei di poker, per gli scommettitori svizzeri sarà, in teoria, possibile giocare online a partire dal 1° luglio 2019.
H2- Qual è lo scopo di questa nuova legge sul gioco d'azzardo in Svizzera?
Dal 1° gennaio 2019, una nuova legge riguardante il gioco d'azzardo è entrata in vigore in Svizzera. Essa sostituisce la normativa sulle case da gioco precedente, datata 1998, e quella sulle lotterie, risalente invece al 1923.
Questa nuova legge federale sui giochi in denaro (LGD) mira a regolamentare tutto ciò che gravita attorno al gioco d'azzardo, dallo svolgimento da parte di stabilimenti autorizzati all'impiego dei relativi proventi, tramite un sistema di tassazione ben finalizzato. La nuova legge si riferisce al gioco d'azzardo online e non riguarda quindi i giochi di denaro praticati all'interno di un circolo privato, gli allibratori sportivi locali, le gare sportive o, ancora, le piccole lotterie di breve durate finalizzate al pubblicizzare un determinato prodotto.
Più in generale, lo scopo di questa legge è quello di assicurare una protezione totale di tutti i giocatori svizzeri contro i pericoli legati al gioco d'azzardo, in particolare dalla dipendenza e dall'isolamento a cui può portare, comportamenti che possono manifestarsi anche in modalità estreme.
Inoltre, la legge vuole farsi garante di un adempimento rispettoso e di un comportamento, da entrambe le parti, il più trasparente possibile. Infine, ha come scopo anche quello di ridistribuire una parte degli utili accumulati dai casinò, denaro previsto a finanziare la previdenza sociale, le fasce sociali più deboli e i cittadini con disabilità.
Il quadro presentato da questa legge, in teoria, soddisfa tutte le parti coinvolte, riuscendo da una parte a proteggere i giocatori e dall'altra gli stabilimenti, assicurando loro di non dover competere con una concorrenza che non si confaccia alla normativa, e quindi illegale.
