Megan Cooper has been translating professionally for one year primarily working with immigration attorneys requiring document translation for francophone clients. This work has included translations of diplomas, professional certificates, identification papers, court documents, personal record certificates (birth, death, divorce, etc.), personal declarations, and personal correspondance (letters, emails, etc.) Megan has taught French to students from pre-school age through 8th grade.

This new language work marks a career transition from the theatre, where Megan has worked professionally for 15 years as an actor, administrator and educator. She holds a BFA in Acting & Directing from Pacific Lutheran University, and MA in Theatre Education from Emerson College and has completed theatre training programs at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts and IES Nantes in France. She has performed and taught theatre professionally throughout the Puget Sound region in the Pacific Northwest and in Boston, most recently serving as the Director of Community Engagement at Boston Lyric Opera.
