Sari has a B.Sc. in Physics/Computer Science and spent many years providing IT solutions to financial institutions (banks, insurance companies, etc.) His encyclopedic knowledge allows him to translate in almost any field at all. Besides fields of specialization stemming from education and actual long-term work experience, he has many esoteric fields of interest in which he can competently translate, examples of which are:

Worked on a number of projects for the New York City government and some of the departments associated with the mayor's office. Examples of which are:

-Project Liberty--Coping in Difficult Times: A brochure aimed at people prone to discrimination or racial prejudices after the events of September 11, 2001.

-West Nile Virus: An informative brochure for the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene about the West Nile virus and how to deal with it in various situations.

-A brochure about Domestic Violence

-A brochure about Oral Health for the Bureau of Oral Health Programs and Policies

Examples of Law/Patents Work

-Interpreted the proceedings of some political asylum cases at the Immigration Court.

-Translated some of the case files of an Egyptian student who was wrongfully detained and abused; and of a Yemeni immigrant who was deported.

-Deportation 101: An informative booklet for immigrants about their legal rights, immigration procedure, and an in-depth discussion of deportation issues.

Voiceover/Transcription Representative Projects

-Recorded voice prompts for a phone system to be used in Saudi Arabia.

-Recorded instructions for some medical devices (e.g., Defibrillators).

-Transcribed an interview with a U.S. medical doctor of an Arabic origin on Aljazeera channel.

-Recorded a substantial part of the voiceover for the EurikAlert Chinese website advertising campaign.
