Texto de origen - español La bioética tiene como misión estudiar los problemas éticos y elaborar, si no respuestas, por lo menos procedimientos que permitan aportar respuestas. 3 Desde esta perspectiva el manejo de instituciones zoológicas debe involucrar la visión bioética para alcanzar el objetivo central de conservación, el cual es la meta principal de todos los zoológicos y acuarios. La bioética se esfuerza en perfeccionar reglas, principios, procedimientos e instituciones que ayudan a la explicación y a la resolución de los problemas que se formulan rutinariamente.4 De acuerdo a esta posición, se define el Código de Ética el cual orientará las acciones de los miembros pertenecientes a la organización, en este caso a los miembros de la Asociación Latinoamericana de Parques Zoológicos y Acuarios (ALPZA).

Bioethics strives to perfect rules, principles, procedures and institutions that help explain and resolve problems that are routinely formulated.4 According to this position, a Code of Ethics is defined with a view to guiding the actions of the members belonging to the organization, in this case the members of the Latin American Association of Zoological Parks and Aquariums (ALPZA).
