Bio
I am a graduate of the Department of English Language and Literature of the Aristotle University of
Thessaloniki. I am mainly interested in text translations as well as subtitling videos (both for
intralingual and interlingual subtitling). I work consistently and I respect strict deadlines. I insist on
the detail, as well as on the overall qualitative image of a job. I have successfully completed
General Translations of Texts, Translation of Specialized Texts under the EU Spectrum, as well as
Subtitling Lessons. I continue to attend translation seminars either within the University or through
independent agencies. I work quite efficiently either in the context of a group project, or I manage
to carry out every single job I am asked to do. Thanks to my excellent organizational and computer
skills, I can complete translations tasks fast enough, yet paying attention to the details, with respect
to both English and Greek. Currently, I work as a subtitler in Body in Balance Channel and other
online subtitling platforms. I have also subtitled films for the International Music Festival "In-Edit
Festival", for the Hellenic Public Radio Television and other companies.
