Bio

I've been interested in languages and writing since I was a child. For me, language studies are akin to archaeology. We live on the ground surface, but somewhere deep in the inner layers the cities of our ancestors are concealed. Language is our historical memory, an instrument of thinking and creativity. That's why I decided to pursue a degree in linguistics.

I was educated as a philologist in a university with a strong Oriental and linguistic scholarly tradition, so my academic background is broader than translatology. However, my 4 years as a translator have allowed me to complement my linguistic knowledge with concentrated practical experience in translations.
