Global Word Share started its activity in 2016 with a team of only 5 persons. We started Translating documents without even having an official office or a website. All of our team members were employed elsewhere and limited in spare time, so per week we used to complete around 5-6 translation projects that had English as a target Language and nothing more than that. We never gave up because we were driven by our dreams and knew that you can reach a point when you can do what you like and call it a job. The industry’s potential fueled us and pushed us forward towards our goals.
The very first projects were based on Canadian and US markets. They were completed online since our resources at that time were limited. After a while, we started to Translate also French, Spanish and Brazil Portuguese. Slowly, our Internal Team of Project Managers together with Sales Managers grew, completed by people that had strong mindsets and confidence in our future company. Our Team of Linguists expanded as well, covering more ground and more language pairs. By creating valuable partnership with other Translators we created what is known now as Global Word Share LTD.
The idea of starting a LSP came to our minds when our services as a freelance agency became highly demanded. We carefully analyzed what was happening in the world at that time, and in each country separately and understood that the Translation Industry is worth the try. The successful partnerships with different agencies, the agreements with our linguists and the successfully completed projects have lined up the foundation of our company. What started slow as a friendship between people whit the same vision from different backgrounds evolved into a strong and loyal family – Global Word Share. We are taking full responsibility for what we are doing and for those who are working under GWS Logo.
What we accomplished in 2 Years? And what are our goals for the future?
– We needed 2 years of working as a simple freelance agency to become a London Based Translation Company who has at the moment a Team of more than 500 + Linguists with 5+ years of experience and is continuing its steady grow and development. We are the ones who will show you the right way of sharing your word with other people, no matter in which part of the world they are. We are the ones who started small, from translating simple certificates and became one of the most reputable translating companies that can easily Translate a Medical book within a week. We are the ones who started from English UK, and at the moment can handle more than 120 + Language pairs.
– Our goals ? To follow our dream further and achieve what others are afraid to even attempt: help those in need to share their knowledge with others. We care about each project that we handle even if it is a non-sense text for a Game Machine.
