BK’s disclosure came Tuesday morning during the keynote that he and Intel President Renée James shared, kicking off the 2013 Intel Developer Forum. It was BK and Renée’s first major public appearance since they assumed their new leadership roles in May.
Vowing that Intel plans to “shape and lead in all areas of computing,” ranging from datacenters to wearables, BK told IDF attendees that “the landscape of computing has never been bigger.”
And BK said that the computing industry’s shift from CPU-based architectures to much more complex system-on-a-chip approach is “good news” for Intel, since silicon integration “plays right into what Intel does best. This is exactly what we do.”

Wearables on display
To show the potential of our future Quark processor family, BK showed off two slim reference designs, a pair of bracelet-sized devices. Though their features are still under development, the Quark-based devices would be the world’s first IA products that you can wear.
He said that Intel is actively working with partners to bring these new kinds of wearable devices to market.

The Gas Accumulation Relay can withstand vacuum, but the valve to the relay should be closed during oil filling. After filling is complete, install a drain bucket under the sample valve then open the main valve and sample valve and observe the gauge drop to 0cc. Let enough oil drain from the sample valve to ensure that no air remains in the relay or tubing. If the gauge does not start to drop after a 10-15 seconds, check the tubing between the main valve and the relay.
