Languages ​​and translation are my passion and I am dedicated to helping my clients portray their message in a clear, concise and professional manner. I always strive for perfection and I pride myself on my attention to detail.

I am a qualified linguist and translator (I graduated with Joint Honors in Spanish and Portuguese from Cardiff University and the Post Graduate Diploma in Translation Studies from Dublin City University), with more than 15 years of business experience working as a Business Analyst with multinational companies dedicated to the television broadcasting and international education industries. Translation played an important part of my roles due to the fact that I was the main point of contact for Spanish-speaking clients. I have many years of translating texts such as business correspondence; documentation such as reports, training manuals and marketing material; as well as software user interfaces and web sites.

In addition to this I have extensive experience of analyzing business requirements, software quality control testing and delivering end user training in both Spanish and English at client sites in countries such as Spain, USA, Argentina and Venezuela to name a few. All of these skills are applicable to my translation work as they enable me to fully examine and identify my clients’ requirements and to guarantee accurate and localized content.

I decided to launch my freelance translation career in 2018, to focus on my main passion and I specialize in the translation of content related to:

Most recently I have worked on the translation of subtitles for several Latin American television series, gaining valuable experience using both in-house subtitling software as well as Aegisub.

I am a native English speaker and I reside in Wales in the United Kingdom.
