My name is Federica Zeppieri and I was born in Italy on 11th October 1991. I am Italian, but I am currently living in Berlin, where I am now working as a Vice managing director and German teacher for Berlino Schule, a foreign languages school, located in Berlin-Friedrichshain.

I got my Bachelor degree in Modern Languages and Cultures at Tuscia University (Viterbo, Italy). I focused my interests on translation studies. After that, I got my Master degree in Modern Philology.

I carried on translating and working with foreign languages over the past three years. In fact, my final dissertation consisted on an experimental analysis of the Lusophonic community in the area of Viterbo, in a linguistic and sociolinguistic perspective.

Furthemore, I studied Sprach- und Literaturwissenschaft at Technische Universität Dresden (Germany), Língua e cultura brasileira at Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (Brazil), and I worked in Lisbon (Portugal) for some months. After my studies, I moved to Berlin where I finally settled down.

I worked as a journalist, editor in chief and translator for Berlino Magazine (an online magazine mainly adressed to Italian people living in Berlin), technical translator for Expondo (a company which produces and sells electronic devices), and as an Italian teaching assistant at Schiller Gymnasium.

I have also been collaborating as a freelance translator for The Loclab and Crowdin (technical translation), and freelance copywriter for Tripsbytips. I can speak Italian (native), English (C1), German (C1) and Portuguese (C1). I can also speak a little bit French.
