Bio

I first visited Brazil and began studying Portuguese in 1998. 2006 - 7, I attended Portuguese language, undergraduate and graduate classes at PUC-Rio. In 2012, I earned my MA in Portuguese Studies from UMass-Dartmouth. I have lived in Rio de Janeiro since then, working at a language course and as a freelance teacher and translator. In 2017, I translated two exhibitions for a major Rio museum.
