Bio
I worked as a freelance translator for 6 years to support myself while studying. I do general translations from/to English and Norwegian (bokmål) and specialize in IT, software/hardware and general computing, online marketing and other related fields. I have 20+ years of experience as a computer hardware enthusiast, web developer and programmer (mainly PHP/HTML/CSS and WordPress). I have over 10 years experience working as an IT professional in the Norwegian government, where I worked full-time from 2007 to 2018.
I follow and enjoy contemporary culture in the US and internationally, such as TV shows, movies and news media daily. Therefore I consider myself exceptionally well-tuned to understand certain contexts and jokes/humor that non-native English (US) speakers may not understand, which can help with the quality of translations.
