Bio

I appreciate this opportunity to introduce myself on this site. I perceive it as a perfect opportunity to support my application for the competitive and attractive employment packages offered. With my background and working experience with the Arabic language, I strongly believe that I am a suitable candidate for any job that you may offer.

Since I was young, I have always had a keen interest in Islamic Studies and the Arabic Language. I attended a religious school during my primary school years, where I learnt basic Islamic Studies, and carried on during high school, where I studied Arabic and wrote the examination at Matric level. I pursued my studies further in Jordan, where I completed the Arabic Language Course and then the Bachelor’s Degree in Islamic Studies.

My most recent qualification includes a Master of Arts Degree in Religion & Theology at the University of the Western Cape. Through the Master’s Programme, I not only made a systematic study of the principles of academic research, but also completed a thesis, entitled “The implementation of Islamic perspectives on nutrition in the context of Muslim faith-based organisations in Cape Town”. The research involved both a theoretical study, as well as an empirical undertaking in the form of data collection and analysis, interviews and focus group discussions.

I have always had the passion to progress further, and I set my profession goal as being an educator and contributing to improve the lives of people. After I read about the employment opportunities and the requirements, I believe that it perfectly matches my work interests and profile and that my professional experience gives me a strong recommendation for a place at your company.

At the same time, I am aware of possible challenges and high investments of effort I will have to place in order to attain the position and successfully make a contribution. Thanking you in advance for reviewing my profile.
