I know that, but anyway I’m writing these lines to tell you, wherever you are, that I’ve finally managed to fulfil my promise to honour your memory with the things that I most associated with you during my childhood: your old ‘Oxford scholar’ shoes, and Williot, the dog who was loyal to you right up to his death.
With Williot, I express all these emotions, probably the most genuine that a man can feel. I also show the satisfaction of doing things properly, just as they used to be done, by hand, as well as the pride of having developed a brand suitable for demanding and independent people.
