Hi, 

I'm Jair and I'm an aspiring professional freelance translator. I have recently finished my bachelor study in the Netherlands at the Academy for Translating and Interpreting and am now working on building up a network.

I'm originally from the Caribbean, where many (European) languages are spoken. Due to my background and own natural affinities, I discovered that I was especially good at picking up languages. After struggling some time to find out what it is I want to do in my professional life, I finally ended up at the study I did.

I very much enjoy translating, as there is no end to the number and variety of texts that you can translate. This is particularly interesting to me, because not only do I keep my own language skills at a competent level, I also often learn many new things from the documents I translate, which adds to my knowledge every day.
