My name is Andreas and I'm a 33 year old Swedish male.

I've been working as a freelance translator and copywriter for over 7 years. During 2 of these 7 years, I was employed as a full time translator and copywriter, by a global world leading company within their niche. In order to get this job, I had to submit a writing test, which was assessed and approved by an external professional proofreading agency.

I prefer the term "localization" to "translation", because at the end of the day, all that matters is that a text is attractive to its target audience. Hence the importance of applying correct tone, choice of words and making sure that the text flows smoothly throughout.
