Tastes
The village’s square, the biggest and most beautiful square in Pelion, has four restaurants serving tasty traditional dishes. Under the huge plane trees you can enjoy the local cuisine in a quiet and cool place. Don’t forget to sit for a Greek coffee at the traditional café (kafeneio) operating since 1785.

Hiking
If you enjoy hiking or walking then Lafkos is the ideal place for you. Surrounded by a big net of stoned paths (kalderimia in Greek) the area offers the visitors a large selection of routes to enjoy the nature and the calmness. The biggest part of these paths are preserved, maintained and marked by the local association “Friends of the Kalderimi of South Pelion”.

Γεύσεις
Η πλατεία του χωριού, η μεγαλύτερη και ομορφότερη πλατεία του Πηλίου, έχει τέσσερα εστιατόρια –ταβέρνες. Κάτω απ’ τη σκιά των αιωνόβιων πλατανιών μπορεί κάποιος να απολαύσει την τοπική κουζίνα σ’ ένα ήσυχο και δροσερό περιβάλλον. Διάσημο είναι πλέον και το παραδοσιακό καφενείο του Φορλίδα που λειτουργεί από το 1785.

Πεζοπορίες
Εάν αγαπάτε το περπάτημα έχετε πολλές δυνατότητες να περπατήσετε σε παλιά λιθόστρωτα μονοπάτια που συντηρούνται, σηματοδοτούνται και έχουν χαρτογραφηθεί από τον τοπικό σύλλογο “Οι Φίλοι των Καλντεριμιών του Νοτίου Πηλίου”.

Παραλίες
Η περιοχή του Λαύκου περιβάλλεται από υπέροχες θάλασσες οι περισσότερες σε απόσταση 20 λεπτών. Δυτικά απ’ τη μεριά του Παγασητικού (ακτές Μαραθιά, Μηλίνας, Χόρτο, κ.α ), νότια απέναντι απ’ τη Σκιάθο και την Εύβοια (ακτές Μικρό, Πλατανιάς) και ανατολικά απ’ τη μεριά του Αιγαίου (Ποτιστικά, Μελανή, Λύρη κ .α) είναι κάποιες από αυτές.
