Potvrzení o přechodném pobytu není podmínkou pobytu občana EU na území ČR, je
proto ponecháno na jeho vůli, zda o vydání tohoto potvrzení požádá či nikoliv.
Potvrzení o přechodném pobytu se vydá na žádost občana EU, který hodlá pobývat
na území ČR déle než 3 měsíce a neohrozil bezpečnost státu nebo závažným
způsobem nenarušil veřejný pořádek.
Žádost o vydání Potvrzení o přechodném pobytu se podává na tiskopisu Žádost o
potvrzení o přechodném pobytu občana Evropské unie.
Náležitosti žádosti:
• cestovní doklad (tj. i průkaz totožnosti občana EU),
• doklad potvrzující účel pobytu, jde-li o zaměstnání, podnikání nebo jinou
výdělečnou činnost anebo studium,
• 1 fotografie,
• doklad o zdravotním pojištění (nevyžaduje se, je-li účelem pobytu zaměstnání,
podnikání nebo jiná výdělečná činnost),
• doklad o zajištění ubytování na území ČR.
Náležitosti žádosti o povolení k přechodnému pobytu nesmí být starší 180 dnů, s
výjimkou cestovního dokladu, rodného listu, oddacího listu a fotografie cizince,
pokud odpovídá jeho skutečné podobě. Vždy předkládejte originály nebo úředně
ověřené kopie dokumentů. Všechny předkládané dokumenty (s výjimkou cestovního
dokladu) musí být vyhotoveny v českém jazyce, nebo do češtiny úředně přeloženy.
Žádost se vyřizuje bez zbytečného odkladu, nejpozději do 30 dnů od zahájení řízení.
V kladném případě je žadatel vyzván pracovištěm odboru azylové a migrační politiky
MV ČR telefonicky nebo písemně k vyzvednutí Potvrzení o přechodném pobytu na
území.
MV ČR vydá cizinci zároveň s potvrzením automaticky také rodné číslo.
Translation - English Temporary residence
A confirmation of temporary residence is not a condition for an EU citizen to stay in the area of the Czech Republic, it is therefore left to the citizen's own will if they apply for this confirmation or not.
The confirmation of temporary residence is issued on request of the EU citizen who intends to stay in the area of the Czech Republic for more than 3 months and who did not endanger the safety of the country or did not disturb public order in any serious way.
The application of issuing the Confirmation of temporary residence is submitted on a form called Application of confirmation of temporary residence of an European Union citizen.
Parts of the application:
• travel document (e.g. ID card of the EU citizen),
• document confirming the purpose of stay if it is regarding employment, business, or other gainful activity, or study,
• 1 photograph,
• proof of health insurance (not required if the purpose of stay is employment, business, or other gainful activity),
• proof ensuring accommodation in the area of the Czech Republic.
The parts of the application of temporary residence must not be older than 180 days, with the exception of the travel document, the certificate of birth, the certificate of marriage, and the photography of the foreign national, if it corresponds with their real appearance. Always submit original documents or certified copies of documents. All submitted documents (with the exception of the travel document) must be issued in Czech language, or officially translated into Czech language.
The application is dealt with without unreasonable delay, no later than 30 days from the beginning of the procedure.
If the request is granted, the applicant is contacted either by phone or in writing by the Asylum and Immigration Department of the Ministry of the Interior of the Czech Republic to collect the Confirmation of temporary residence in the area.
The Ministry of the Interior of the Czech Republic will together with the confirmation automatically issue the citizen with a birth identification number.
