Source text - English Other studies have shown that the feeling in the pharynx will be reduced after administration of lidocaine and that it can affect the normal self-regulating swallowing reflex. Since the bupivacaine lozenge is for oral use, we needed to test the swallowing reflex to prove that the lozenge can be used as pain relief before mealtimes without the risk of aspiration.
The subjects had to be fasting for 3 hours before the examination. They were all given a compressed lozenge containing 25 mg bupivacaine and were told to suck the lozenge until it was completely dissolved. The subjects then had to take a mouthful of barium-contrast fluid. The path of the fluid through the esophagus was recorded using video radiography (radiation dose < 0.35 mSv), which was then analyzed for aspiration. The examination is a standard examination for patients with swallowing problems.
Translation - Czech Jiné studie ukázaly, že citlivost hltanu je po podání lidokainu redukována a že to může ovlivnit normální samoregulovaný polykací reflex. Vzhledem k tomu, že bupivakain je určen k perorálnímu užívání, potřebovali jsme testovat polykací reflex, abychom prokázali, že pastilka může být použita pro úlevu od bolesti před jídlem bez rizika aspirace.
Subjekty musely být po dobu 3 hodin před vyšetřením nalačno. Všem byla dána lisovaná pastilka obsahující 25 mg bupivakainu a byli požádáni o cucání pastilky, dokud se úplně nerozpustí. Subjekty si pak musely vzít sousto kontrastní látku - barium. Cesta tekutiny jícnem byla zaznamenána pomocí radiografie (dávka záření < 0,35 mSv), což bylo poté analyzováno na aspiraci. Vyšetření je standardní vyšetření pro pacienty s polykacími problémy.

Source text - English As well as conventional components (limestone [CaCO3], clays [SiO2, Al2O3] and iron mineral [Fe2O3], the raw meal for this invention includes an agent that encourages the formation of phases or a mixture that is different to a sulfate compound. One technique of this invention is the non-use of sulfated components in the raw meal. The agent used to encourage the formation of phases of the invention is selected from residual slag from the steel, copper, etc industries; calcium fluorosilicate, heavy metal salts such as zinc, copper, molybdenum; alkaline sodium, potassium or lithium salts, fluorite, slag from precious materials such as gold, silver and platinum. The agent used to encourage the formation of phases shall be added to the raw meal in an amount that will vary by approximately 0.1 to 1.0% of the weight of the raw meal.
