Source text - English In Egypt , there is high prevalence rate of rheumatic heart disease(5/1000)prevalence rate).These high rates are due to high waves of urbanization and mass migration of population from rural areas to cities and towns resulting in the problem of bad housing and over crowding, beside increased number of slum areas.these social factors result in high virulence and pathogenicity of organisms . These higher incidents and prevalence rates are also reflected on mortality from this disease,to the extent that Egypt has one of the highest mortality rates from rheumatic heart disease.موجات النزوح الجماعي
