Bio
My interest in languages started in early childhood, when I used the extensive linguistic library mo mother had. Later, as I interacted with people from different cultures, I was able to learn not only Russian and Ukrainian (which I consider my native languages) but also English and some German. Unfortunately, lack of practice in German led to my skills being left undeveloped in that language.
My practice as an interpreter started in 1994 at Zaprozhye Bible College and Seminary, where I performed both oral and written translation from/to Russian and English, and occasionally into Ukrainian. The primary focus was on simultaneous translation of classes offered in English, which needed to be translated for local students into Russian.
Later, at various points in my career, I performed translation jobs which included church and other group settings, document translations for NGOs and companies, and a few translations of fiction books.
If you choose to work with me on your next project, my desire would be to deliver your desired translation product on time and with the highest quality possible.
