I am Charles, a Canadian who actually lives in Taiwan. I lived in Asia for almost 5 years now and I worked both in China and Taiwan. I started to learn Chinese in 2011 but I only studied intensively starting from 2012 to 2014 at the National Taiwan University in Taiwan. That 2 years of intensive Chinese language study allowed me to be fluent in Mandarin. For the past 2 years I have been working for Chinese and Taiwanese companies both in China and Taiwan. My last employer was the electronics manufacturing company giant Foxconn (Honhai). I was working there as a Global Senior HR specialist and reporting directly to the HR vice-president (my background is labor law and human resources management). During those two years I was only speaking in Chinese at the office.

I quit my job recently to take some time to travel before going back to school in August for my master degree in Malaysia (Supply Chain management). For that reason, I am actually available to work on translations and I really hope I can be helpful to some companies/people and support them in the translation of their documents. I am very passionate about Chinese language and translation is a hobby for me so I can assure you that I would provide you very high quality translations.
