As conclusões mostram que o modelo CFD tridimensional de wetlands construído foi validado; a utilização de modelos tridimensionais é importante para explorar sistemas complexos de wetlands construídos; e, muito embora os índices hidráulicos utilizados não tenham sido capazes de predizer a eficiência do tratamento de água, foi mostrado que o comprimento é o que mais afeta o CEvaps, enquanto que o comprimento junto com a adição de chicanas têm um maior impacto no HSSF-CW.

The conclusions showed that a three-dimensional CFD model for constructed wetlands was validated; the use of three-dimensions is important for the exploration of complex constructed wetland systems; and, even though the hydraulic indexes used were not able to predict water treatment efficiency, it was shown that length affects the CEvaps the most, while length coupled with the addition of baffles has the greatest impact on the HSSF-CW.
