Dimos Chatzinikolaou is a Ph.D. candidate at the Department of Economics of the Democritus University of Thrace in the scientific fields of “competitiveness, business ecosystems, and industrial policy.” Dimos Chatzinikolaou contributes to the same Department as a research and teaching assistant in the courses, workshops, and research seminars coordinated by Dr. Charis Vlados, related directly to his dissertation’s research focus. He also takes part as a teaching assistant of Dr. Charis Vlados in postgraduate courses at the School of Business of the University of Nicosia by being also a teacher in a vocational training institute located in Thessaloniki, Greece, preparing the material and teaching Economics and Management courses. Dimos Chatzinikolaou is the co-author of more than fifty scientific articles in peer-reviewed scientific journals and conference proceedings, and his primary areas of research include, among others, globalization, competitiveness, economic policy, and entrepreneurship. Finally, Dimos Chatzinikolaou is a researcher under contract in the project titled Research Infrastructure EN.I.R.I.S.S.T.
