I am a recently graduate student from the University of Florence with a Master´s Degree in European and American languages and cultures, specialised in English and Finnish languages. The course covered many topics but I have always been drawn to the field of translation and interpretation. I am very keen on developing specialist skills in this area and build a successul career.

During my study years I was given the opportunity not only to attend to a summer course at the Univeristy of Vaasa but also to work in Finland. Although it was not in my field of study it allowed me to expand my knowledge on the Finnish language and culture while giving me an insight on the work market in Finland.

In order to expand my knowledge and improve my language skills I am currently carrying out my Erasmus traineeship at the Cultural Centre Caisa in Helsinki which will last for a year. Working in a cultural environment allows me to get in contact with people from around the word and being able to communicate with them is one of the main assets of this work.

Amongst my passions photography, travelling and music occupay an important part of my time. One of my biggest dreams is to travel around the world and my passion for photography was born out of that dream. I always plan things in advance and finish the assignment I was given in the shortest amount of time possible. I enjoy working in a team but I am also able to complete a task on my own.
