About me

Personality

Being inclusive is vital to my identity. I love to exercise concise and direct communication, which is crucial to my emotional health and facilitating a sound work environment. I analyse and solve problems swiftly and never lose sight of the bigger picture. My empathy enables me to understand each party’s standpoint, even if I disagree. As a result, I work with all available variables. I do not think outside the box; I live outside the box!

Education

I earned my bachelor’s degree (Hons) in Psychology and Linguistics at the National University of Ireland, Galway and studied Neuropsychology at Maastricht University.

Experience

I worked in several European and Southeast Asian countries, supporting family-run businesses, mid-size companies, and global corporates. I utilised these opportunities to test my limits, hone my skills, and expand my mind. I learned that work environments neglect emotional hygiene and healthy communication, in most cases, unknowingly. As a result, companies prevent themselves from performing their best.

Approach

I improve projects by asking uncomfortable questions and breaking down complicated subjects into straightforward solutions. My work is methodical. I do this to save my time as well as yours. I work towards flourishing long-term relationships that serve all parties equally.

About us

Who we are

We are spouses who earned their undergraduate degree in psychology and linguistics at the National University of Galway. We continued our studies at Maastricht University, where we specialised in neuropsychology. We discovered that our collaboration led to improved results. Based on this experience, we decided to establish our company in 2015, combining the things most dear to our heart – psychology and linguistics.

What we do

We improve your written communication. It is vital to us that the target audience understands your message. We analyse the source and fix any grammatical and factual errors. We also translate from German to English and vice versa. Furthermore, we localise, edit, and proofread. We make complex processes easy to understand and bridge the academic and business world.

What drives us

Critical thinking and objectivity are the core of our business. We are not interested in blindly adhering to currently practised conventions but defining and establishing improved standards that serve our clients better. We continuously evaluate our processes and don’t hesitate to scrutinise our work if it does not meet our standards. We love what we do and take ownership of our work. Our passion for concise and immaculate results drives us towards perfection.
